Podstrana is a small tourist town near Split (8 km), which is known for its rich cultural heritage, olives, wine, and peaches, as well as friendly locals, good food, beautiful beaches on the 9 km long coastline, and therefore represents one the most attractive tourist destinations.
The cradle of Podstrana is Stara Podstrana (Ethno-Eco Village), a number of centuries-old stone houses at the foot of steep cliffs of Mount Perun with courtyards and streets with vibrant spirit of the past. Living in Podstrana it is now mainly on the coast where are now parts Strozanac, Grljevac, Martin, Mutogras.
