Croatia Weather – October
In October, the beach season comes to an end but Croatia remains a beautiful destination. Temperatures are still mild (14–18 °C on average) and sunshine is decent (130–200 hours). The sea gradually cools (19–22 °C) but remains pleasant at the start of the month.
Rainfall increases significantly (77–193 mm depending on the station) — October marks the start of the wet season. However, Dubrovnik and the southern Dalmatian coast remain more clement than Rijeka.
This is an excellent period for cultural trips, hiking and discovering Croatia without crowds or excessive heat.
